The fiber repair vessel, which departed Port Angeles, Washington over the weekend, is expected to arrive on site near Chignik Bay on June 7. The estimated 7-14 day timeline for full repairs remains on track. Internet service is operating at a limited level in all impacted communities as we manage network capacity using backup satellite systems. Wireless calling, texting, and limited mobile data are also available in all impacted communities, including Akutan, Chignik Bay, False Pass, King Cove, Perryville, and Unalaska. Technical teams continue to closely monitor the network and improve service where possible until permanent repairs are complete.
